Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response Center

The Baton Rouge Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response (STAR) Center is a nationally recognized community outreach program founded in 1975 by the Office of the District Attorney for victims of rape and sexual assault. This non-profit (501c3) community organization provides services free of charge to victims.  Each victim utilizing these services is assured of complete anonymity and given substantial input into the decision of whether to pursue criminal prosecution.
